Planwise ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our AI-powered productivity app for managing tasks, habits, goals, and schedules.

Information We Collect

When you use Planwise, the following data may be processed:

• Tasks, Habits, Goals, and Events: The content you create within the app is stored locally on your device and synced via iCloud to your other devices.
• AI Conversations: When you use the AI assistant, your messages and relevant context (schedule, tasks, habits, goals) are sent to our servers for processing.
• Voice Input: If you use voice features, audio is processed using Apple's Speech Recognition framework on-device.
• Photos and Attachments: Files you attach to tasks are stored locally and in iCloud.
• Crash Data: Anonymous crash reports to help us improve the app (opt-in).

How We Use Your Information

• To provide AI-powered scheduling and productivity assistance
• To sync your data across your Apple devices via iCloud
• To improve app performance and fix bugs
• To process subscription payments through Apple

AI Processing

When you chat with our AI assistant:

• Your messages and relevant app data are sent to our secure server
• We use OpenAI's API to process requests
• We do not permanently store your conversation history on our servers
• OpenAI processes data according to their Privacy Policy

Data Storage

Local Storage: Your tasks, habits, goals, and calendar data are stored locally on your device using Core Data.

iCloud Sync: If enabled, your data syncs across devices using Apple's CloudKit, governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Attachments: Files and photos you attach are stored locally and in iCloud.

Third-Party Services

• OpenAI API: For AI-powered assistance
• Apple CloudKit: For data synchronization
• Apple StoreKit: For subscription management (no payment data stored by us)
• Apple Speech Recognition: For voice input (processed on-device)

Data Security

• All network communications use HTTPS encryption
• Your data is encrypted on your device
• iCloud sync uses Apple's encryption standards
• We do not have access to your Apple ID or payment information

Your Rights

You have complete control over your data:

• Delete the app to remove all local data
• Disable iCloud sync in Settings to stop cloud storage
• Disable AI features if you prefer not to use them
• Disable crash reporting in app settings
• Request data deletion by contacting us

Children's Privacy

Planwise is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
